When Should Groomsmen Order Their Suits? A Simple Wedding Timeline

Wedding planning is a juggling act, and groomsmen suits are one of those things that seem simple until they're not. The key is starting earlier than you think you need to.
6+ Months Before: Start Planning
At this stage, you should be browsing styles and thinking about the look you want. Are you going for a classic black tux? A matching gray suit party? Coordinated but not identical? Start your research and narrow down your direction.
4–5 Months Before: Book Your Fitting Party
This is the window to schedule your consultation at G&G Suits. Call us or book online. We'll set aside a private appointment for you and your groomsmen to come in together — a full Fitting Party experience with drinks, music, and expert styling.
3–4 Months Before: The Fitting
Come in with your full group. Everyone gets measured, fitted, and styled in the same session. We'll handle everything — suit color, shirt and tie coordination, shoes, accessories. You leave with a clear plan and timeline.
6–8 Weeks Before: Final Alterations
Any last alterations are done here. If someone has lost weight, gained muscle, or just wants a slightly different cut, this is when we finalize everything.
Wedding Week: You're Ready
Suits are ready and waiting. No rentals to pick up, no last-minute scrambles. Your party looks sharp, owns their suits, and you can focus on everything else.
